Tumblr is a blogging service provider, where you can create a free blog to express your thoughts with world. Tumblr provides you a platform through which you can create and manage your online blogs. If you want to create a tumblr blog, then you need to have a tumblr account. Using it you can manage and create more than one tumblr blogs. Tumblr Account registration is very simple and easy. While registration process you will also be creating your first tumblr blog. So Lets create your first Tumblr Account.
Create a New Tumblr Account
1. Go to https://www.tumblr.com
2. Click on the “Sign up” button at the top right corner of the page.
3. On the next Page, you need to enter your Email, Password and Username. Username will be used as the Web Address of your blog. Like, if I choose “hinaadil”, then the address of my tumblr blog will be “hinaadil.tumblr.com”. You can edit this later, so don’t worry and select a nice username. After entering click on the “Start” button.
4. After that it will ask you for your Age. Just enter your age as 18 or 19 and check the box before “I have read, understand, and agree to the Tumblr Terms of Service.”. And then click “Done”.
5. After that you need to enter the Spam Protection Captcha Code. Enter the above words or numbers as they are in below text area. And click “Done”.
6. After that you will receive an Email Confirmation of your registration of tumblr account. Open that Email and click on the “Verify Email Address” button in email.
7. After Activation, it will say you “Thank You”. Now click on the “Go to Tumblr” button and you will be redirected to your Tumblr Account Dashboard.
So, now you have a Tumblr Account with a blog which is “hinaadil.tumblr.com” in my case. Your blog will be same as your user name.
